Counter Canter Stables, in partnership with Falconridge Farm, is proud to offer full care boarding for horses at one of the last farms in Seattle. If you are tired of driving hours to see your horse, here is the opportunity to bring your friend closer to home. Tucked away on a quiet street in the heart of West Seattle, this 4.2-acre property features the following amenities for boarders:
The small main barn includes eight matted 10'x12' stall with access to 10'x20' matted runs with views of the Cascades and Seattle
Arena barn offers three 9'x19' matted stalls without runs and four 9'x11' stalls without runs
Lighted, covered arena measuring 70'x160' (20m x 60m) with a 70' wall of mirrors and open to east and north with views of the Cascades and city
Ample turnout into large gravel paddocks in wet weather, and access to grass paddocks and fields in favorable weather
Heated tack rooms in each barn with wooden saddle racks
Access to a cozy riders lounge and viewing area in arena
Two washracks with hot and cold water, in indoors, one outdoors
Falconridge Farm offers top-quality horse care.
Horses are fed three times daily with top-quality hay to suit each horse.
Stalls are cleaned daily and include ample bedding.
Clean water is always available.
Additionally, our vegetable, herb, and flower gardens are small but abundant and the produce is shared with our boarders.
Besides the above, we do the little extras, including; making appointments, holding your horse for the vet or farrier, blanketing during the winter, and feeding your owner-provided grain/supplements daily.
Monthly boarding is $950 per month (grooming and exercise packages available upon request).
